Our comfortable holiday properties, with cosy “snuggle up” log burners in the two bigger cottages supplementing full central heating throughout, provide just that restful place needed in order to unwind. Read the paper or your favourite book, relax in our spa or sauna, or take a revitalising swim in our indoor heated swimming pool.

Our short breaks are available in the quieter months but very occasionally, due to cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances, we can offer them in the busier seasons too.

The crowds may be gone but there will still be plenty to do and certain Attractions are open throughout much of the year.

What never goes away are the quiet villages of the North York Moors, relatively traffic-free, the picturesque fishing villages of our magnificent coastline, and the ‘pull’ of coastal towns of Whitby and Scarborough. Enjoy a quiet walk along an empty beach or the power of the North Sea on a stormy day, it really is an awesome sight. 

Shoppers will enjoy the bigger towns in the surrounding areas, including, of course the beautiful City of York which is just 30 miles away.

Availability and Booking:-

During our main season (Easter to early November) we have a Saturday changeover with short breaks generally only available on the basis of ‘late availability’.

Outside of our main season (early November to Easter but excluding ‘Christmas’ and ‘New Year’ weeks) you can choose your day of arrival and length of stay from 3 nights upwards.
